For module B, wat exactly does it mean when we have to look at reception in different contexts. Does anybody have any websites that looks at that, because i'm having a tough time doing it for speeches (the most awful text to do). Any ideas, all the stuff i've found is waaaay to in depth, i want some simplicity

That'd be really hard.. cos most of them are recentish. Respond to the texts in your own context for starters.

By reception in different contexts it just means how different contexts have effected the way it is interpeted.
For example, i do king lear, and about 70 years or so after it was written, people didn't like seeing the ending which had everybody dieing. So some dude re-wrote a 'happy ending'..
That's the sort of stuff they are looking for.

u look at the concepts in the text and see how they relate to the period it was written in. u can also look at it from ur perspective and say that although this issue was a relevant one in the 19--'s, it also resonates with a modern audience due to blah blah blah. i agree though - much easier to do for king lear.
