To be honest, Studies of Religion is a subject where you can rely on notes from BoS and still do well. Your school textbook should be fine (I don't even use that).

I did however, purchase the NEW Excel Studies of Religion book (the old one by Fleming is crap) and I quite like it. Also Living Religion (my school's core) is quite detailed, if you're bothered to read it - it's a good book.

I don't think living religion is a good textbook. It doesn't cover all the syllabus dot points
