This is for the people that have the book , as you may know the book is for year 11 and 12.

So im confused in the preliminary syallbus i have to learn

5.6 Harder applications of 5.3, 5.4 and 5.5.
5.7 Trigonometric functions of sums and differences of angles.
5.8 Expressions for sin
q, cos q and tan q in terms of tan ( ).
5.9 Simple trigonometric identities and equations.

The general solution of trigonometric equations.

Now in the Fitz 3U (the green book) there are 2 lessons , trignometry page 22 and trignometric equations page 41.

Do i have to learn both of them (or just 1 lesson etc , please say which it is)?

And just a offtopic question do i have to learn the double angle formula , half angle formula etc , for
5.8 Expressions for sin
q, cos q and tan q in terms of tan ( )."

Stuffs on pg 41 don't need to be covered in Preliminary as you will cover that during your HSC. You just can't do stuffs on 41 as you need to know all the stuffs on radians.

Just focus on the chapter 21.

You have to know all the formulas (double angle, half, T-formula)

You basically have to know everything in chapter 21 except the ones on pg 33 and the questions related to them. Good luck. If you need solutions (worked out solutions, I will be glad to give you one as I finished every single question in that chapter except 3 or 4 questions in total :uhhuh: :uhhuh: :uhhuh: :uhhuh: ).
