BIg Brother production is a really good one, look for article called "Strings Attached" and another good one is "Cause Celeb" (a novel) but u dont need to read it all...

Government of the western world makes telling the truth an easy topic!

I'm doing "The Insider". "Wag the Dog" like someone mentioned would be good. I was told by my teacher that Jessica Lynch would be a good one.

I'm also doing the Robert Bogucki saga. In the Media Watch or PM transcripts, it reveals how the channel 9 crew irresponsibly pursued the story of Robert Bogucki who was lost in the Great Sandy Desert for over forty days. "After conducting an exclusive on-the-spot interview, the crew then whisked Mr Bogucki back to Broome. Police Superintendent, Steve Roast, claims the TV station failed to notify the search leaders and endangered Mr Bogucki's health by not waiting for medical assistance." Like Frontline they disregarded Bogucki's rights. For example, his right to immediate medical attention. They interviewed the poor guy persistently even though he was weak from undernourishment and filming him in his most vulnerable condition. The channel nine crew made it look as if they rescued him. I've gotten a little carried away but I think it's really good for supplementary material. You can link it to Frontline. The ruthless schemes in order to gain ratings, disregard for individual's rights, etc. (Anyway, I need to get in the practise of writing these things.)

A more recent example.I'm not too sure on the details of Richard Carleton (journalist on 60 Minutes). He "misled and lied to viewers of the 60 Minutes current affairs program by showing footage from another mass grave to illustrate a story about the Srebrenica massacre."

"Mr Carleton conceded he had knowingly used footage of victims being exhumed from a mass grave far away from Srebrenica to illustrate the Channel Nine report."
