I'm not 100% sure. I've heard people mention this while browing these forums.

Also, whats the deal with Q5 2003 HSC.

In my success one book it says. No answer.

Q5: An astronaut set out in a spaceship from earth orbit to travel a distant star in our galaxy. The spaceship travelled at a speed of 0.c. When the spaceship reached the star the on-board clock showed the astronaut that the journey took 10 years.

An identical clock remianed on Earth, What time in years had elapsed on this clock when seen from the astronaut's spaceship?

B) 6. (answer according to markers notes)

So a brief summary:
(0.8c)

10 years on pilot of spaceship.

If 6 years passes on earth from pilots point of view(POV)

Is it possible to work out the time passed on earth from Earth's POV, given the time passed on the spaceship from the pilots POV (rather than the time passed on the spaceship from Earth's POV).

Hope this makes sense.
