Wanted to know what the requirement would be to guarantee an interview offer for a regional student in UNSW, Monash, UNE, etc. In terms of ATAR and UCAT? (Also, does having a whole heap of extracurricular stuff help in terms of getting offers?)

Thanks

go look at medstudentonline, they get their users to give in their scores and what unis they got into. take it with a grain of salt though not every single person who got in is gonna be sharing their results like that.

oh and btw to get an interview offer the main thing you need is a good UCAT score (as you're a regional student aim for above 70th percentile). your atar + interview determine if you actually get an offer to the course and extracurriculars matter a bit (just make sure u have at least 3 to elaborate on)- they just wanna see if you know how to talk + work in a team.

yea check mso for all the collated data. In short though, there's no specific required atar or ucat score since each uni has a different criteria, so just aim as high as you can, although for rural students the requirements would be lower. As for extracurricular stuff, doing these don't automatically mean you will do well in an interview, you have to know what you learnt from them and be able to articulate it well in the interview.

Sorry, I don't mean to be offensive, but USYD with 99.6, congrats, but isn't their requirement 99.95?
