nup as long as i get 50 i am in uni anyway, so stress is not something i am feeling, more curiosisty

Yeh, I'm the same. Not only am I guaranteed my first preference, I've already done the enrolment, so results don't really mean much.
Although I am curious about some subjects.

I dreamed of topping 4 unit english when I don't even do it.

Along with that I got some poor result from somewhere else. Is this a good sign?

as in first in the state. They get a call earlier that they came first. I am not sure if they get a call the day before the release date...

Oh, umm, a friend topped ag last year and got a call the friday before that week. And state ranks = top 20/10/5 or whatever, I think they're released on thr 16th

ALso, funnily enough, I dont have dreams of HSC but most of my friends do lawl

Anyway, HSC dreams are so cool! But I always seem to get good dreams for subjects that I don't do.

haha i think that's much better than having hsc nightmares surrounding your real subjects. at least you wouldn't wake up and have to convince yourself it's just a dream.

what i have heard regarding 1st in state notification - 1st ranks are always released the day prior to release of HSC results, although i have heard that for larger subjects such as English Adv, 1st-placed students are notified a little earlier as they are usually interviewed by the media at the ceremony and BOS has to make certain that they can attend.

Haha sameee... but I didn't actually see my marks. I just knew they were CRAP.

2008 NSW HSC students
Release of 2008 UAI
You will be able to access your UAI from 9am on Thursday 18 December 2008. Follow the online instructions to access your UAI. You will need your UAC application number or HSC student number and UAC PIN.

Nahh UAI on 18th. Results on 17th.

oh wtf? i'm pretty sure that hsc planner poster thingy says that our results are to be released on the 16th.

The official Board of Studies website http://www.boardofstudies.nsw.edu.au/ says:

"HSC students can get their HSC results from 6.00 am 17 December via the telephone, by SMS message or the internet at www.hscresults.nsw.edu.au or www.hsc-results.nsw.edu.au."

The UAI is out the day after this I believe.
