if youre near an interesection and the lights turn amber, youre meant to accelerate if you cant stop before the line in time.

you're not meant to accelerate, you're just meant to keep going. you should always be able to safely stop unless you're going too fast (which you never should near a set of lights) or unless someone is tailing you.

i've never had a fine and i go through yellow lights all the time .. there's a fine art to being able to judge if you'll be able to get through it or not

apparently in adelaide the red light cameras are also speed cameras... so if you speed up to make the orange, you get done for speeding... lol
