What's the proper recipe for making this stuff, every source gives me a slightly different version re: flavourings and stuff

We tried making it last night and it didn't taste very good so I'm thinking we did it wrong

usually its the left over meat from Peking duck or roasted duck meat with five spice powder. add some pine nuts and hoisin sauce and you have sang choy bow

probably like minced meat stir fried with all these veges inside

when i was a kid sang choy bow was just fried rice wrapped in lettuce
those were good days

You gave me cravings so I just went and asked my mum for it sometime soon. She said that it doesn't actually contain any red meat and is instead pork and chicken mince. It also contains onion and waterchesnuts apparently, and of course the big crunchy lettuce leaves. Not sure about the sauce though.
