isit possible? i want to send a file to someone on e mail, but i don't want them to modify it.

i found out how to get a password on it, so you can only modify it with the password. but even with that i was able to modify the document and save it as a different file.

any ideas?

if you can read a file, then there is nothing stopping you from copying and pasting the whole thing into a new doc and changing it as you please.

haha to rub it in even further, print screen, save as tiff or jpg, scan back with OCR software, save as unprotected word file, all done in less than one minute.

or just use acrobat professional.... assuming they didn't put on a password.

Then again, word has a password feature too.

there is an option when you're saving

File > Save As > Tools > Security Options

I'm using Office XP btw.
