Overall i think the exam was generally quite easy in difficulty (even though i think i screwed section I and II up), if so, wont that lead to the exams being scaled down more this year?

Incorrect.

The HSC exam is scaled AND aligned based on the raw marks. Both processes are independent of each other.

The UAC scaling process does not take into account the difficulty of the exam. The process for aligning the raw marks do have some relevence to the difficulty of the exam.

The scaled mean for the combined Standard/Advanced candidature will always be close to the average (25.0) because the course is taken by so many students.

You should be more concerned with your other courses.

i wouldn't have thought the aos would be scaled. Because it is taken by everyone, they would just make the test perfect.
