Hey, so I got 99.50 as my ATAR, and I was really happy about that, but when I added up my scaled marks, I saw I got 471/500. From what I've seen/heard 455 roughly translates to 99.50 whereas 470 is roughly 99.80. Should I be worried that maybe my ATAR wasn't processed correctly?

doubt it, i got 453/500 and my ATAR was 97.2. I'm not sure that's the best estimate you had there.

If you got 99.5, you either added up your scaled marks wrong or you have the wrong scaled marks. Whilst this year was very, very competitive at the top end, 470 was still around 99.80-99.85. It is unlikely that the board added up your marks wrong, where are you getting your scaled marks?

What are your marks? Only way to verify. Extremely unlikely there was a clerical error on UAC's part.

Also, those marks you get from BOS are not scaled marks. They are aligned marks. Scaling is an independent process done by UAC, you cannot know your scaled marks accurately.

Ok, turns out that I was adding up the BOS provided marks thinking they were scaled marks  Thanks for all the input guys
