Hey,

do our modules for english & physics scale differently?

if not why do someschool chose harder modules than others?

A- frankenstein and blade runner
B- Hamlet
C- Justice Games
Belonging - Immigrant chronicle

For Physics we are doing quanta to quarks

how do those scale?

A - I'm doing it too, and have no idea.
B- Hamlet scales better then speeches i believe.
C - I have no idea. I believe Ted Hughes scales better though.

Fucked if i knew for physics too.

doing the exact same thing at my school... i doubt the type of modules or option topics differ in terms of scaling. if so, it would be pretty stupid

english modules do scale differently

e.g. in module B 13/20 in speeches is equivalent to a 16/20 in hamlet generally but it varies year to year depending on difficulty

Thought it was opposite? 13/20 Hamlet is 16/20 speeches, although it would be logical to have it your way. I mean, i have to remember 7 different speeches..

I know what you mean (speeches is pretty annoying) but generally the hamlet response is marked harder which is why they scale better

Obviously different module options in English are scaled differently, but what about different prescribed text for the ares of study. I'm doing Strictly Ballroom, I have a feeling that it wont scale as well as someone doing The poetry of Emily Dickinson, Is it true? :L

Hamlet has to scale better than speeches. It is Shakespeare after all.

Physics- your option scales better than the more popular like astro and such.
