how do we combat this?? its only week 7 and im so done and no longer have any motivation to do schoolwork, assignments and homework ( im usually a slacker who aims for just passing grades). year 10 so far is the most effort ive put in ever during highschool to stay on top of things, finish things on time etc but i feel like its all piling up ykwim.

im open to any tips

this is dumb but I pretend im working a 9-5 but the workload is the emails I gotta reply to and shii and like if the adults can do it so can I 💀 (try before u deny fam trust me)

how are you burning out in yr 10

that year really doesn't matter at all

try push through until past exams and then take a full week or so off after exams to recharge. burnout only gets worse and worse when you just "lock in" and ignore it bc it will persist to the next term and you'll be unmotivated for next term too.

spend your holidays studying a litte bit only for the subects youre failing and if not just relax and chill out please bc in the future your holidays arent actually going to be holidays

i recommend habitica, it basically gamifies studying
exams are generally easier than you expect, except for maths, it looks easy but if it feels easy, be aware, you might have forgotten the negative sign in the quadratic formula or something
