Thanks Phanatical- I guess this means I don't have to type the rest up^^ Kudos to you and Wooz.

my school didn't rank :(
That's odd... either I missed it or is it in another region? Did you check Phanatical's more comprehensive/accurate list?

1 - James Ruse
2 - Baulkham Hills
3 - Girraween High.

One day my alma mater will rise up to first in the region. I mean seriously, just because Girra doesn't have a front gate, and uses old hand-me-down textbooks from Baulko doesn't make it a bad school.
Well my maths book was older than me this year (at said school). And I don't think our front gate is anything to brag about- I'm scared of touching it, it feels like it's about to break. Then there's the new prison fencing.

And grr... my school got grouped with James Ruse >_> *sigh* @ 2nd. But I guess selective in the region comparisons doesn't really count when trying to figure out where the 'better students live' because the people are not all from the one region.

Can't believe it... We dropped so much....it's not funny...i'm depressed...And i thought our school was going to get better....12th in the St George Region...last year we had 6.29% DA..this year 6.09% DA....can't imagine how many places we dropped...

Luckily..I changed school....phew...I hope my friends hang in there....

Yep...

I am curious, my school is in Indonesia...
We had 86 students, each sat 5-7 exams, which mean roughly we had 500++ exams and we had 67 DA, as far as I remember...That should put in good percentage....

If you want to you can compare it to the top 200 schools and see how you rank there- look out for schools like Taylors College and the Australian International School Singapore (I think that's the name)... and any other int'l schools you know of.

Type of school (govt or private), then the school name, then the number of exams which were sat, then the number of exams which had a result > 90, then a percentage of exam results > 90, and then school ranking in the region.

Uhh yeah, somewhere in the telegraph or something there was one.

DA = distinguished achievers, i.e. results 90% or over.
