My duh-worthy advice is: bring as much as you can. You'll only go to schoolies once, probably, and even if you go again it won't be as good. You want to be able to get as much alcohol, cigarettes, drugs and so on as possible, and if you run out of money, do you really want to spend 2 days eating Weet-bix that you borrowed money to buy?

I'm bringing $500, so that's around $70 a day. Will it be enough? We'll see.

I'm not sure how much money I'll take, probably as much as i can get (not much).

I'm thinking:

Alcohol for the week: $150
Accomodation : $300
Food + other stuff : $250
Transport up there : $20 Petrol Money to a mate


I might have to bring some spare $$ to slip the police officer when he/she pulls me up for underage drinking.

If I run out of money, I'll have to sell my body.

u spend totally minimum on food! its amazing... u dont eat up in qld... ur always out and about... dont bother with maccas or any fast food joint, lines flood outside doors 24/7!! (same with toilets)

alchol is damn expensive (along with other goodies).
girls: really nice surf shops! ull need money for that


other than that.. dont need much
buy as much alcho, smokes and bits n pieces down here.. cause even service stations rise their prices...
u dont need heaps of clothes.. just bordies... swimmers.. thongs... u wear them 24/7
stock ur bag full of those goodies mentioned above

dont bring valuable stuff... we had some weird guys staying in the room next to us (we shared a balcony), we came back one day, and our balcony door had its flyscreen slashed at the door handle, thus.. we could tell they had gone through our gear....
