Discrete is relatively easy, you just need to put in consistent homework. I imagine most people don't do that.

Something like BIOS1201 or FOOD1120 is relatively straightforward.

if you're into bullshitting and essays, do HPSC
agreed ^^

HPSC 1100, two fairly short essays (~800 words), three short answer tests, fairly straight forward. Most people got Credit or higher in the first test.

HPSC is a science subject. The only restriction is in the Science/Arts program, you cannot major in History and Philosophy of Science for the science component

Hm, though, just out of curiousity, does the bachelor of science degree require electives to be done? Cos, if you have a look at:

Code:
http://www.handbook.unsw.edu.au/undergraduate/programs/2006/3970.html
In comparison to:

Med Science:

Code:
http://www.handbook.unsw.edu.au/undergraduate/programs/2006/3970.html
In med sci, it actually states that you need to do an additional 12 UOC worth of electives.

So...it seems that in B sci, it's different to med sci, mainly that they do 'majors' + minor/major?

Can anyone suggest any 3uoc science subject offered in Session 1 that involves programming/computing/modelling (any yr)?

So far, I'm considering PHYS2020 Computational Physics. Anyone know much about this course or have any comments?
