It's one of those days where you meet other incoming students whom you will be studying with during first year.

It also involves activities to create peer groups, first year impressions from a current USyd student, study tools, lunch, tour of campus, outcomes of a science based training.

Last year's day was ok. As I said in another thread, it's much better if you're doing a specialised degree or planning on a 'main stream' major, as that way you will be put into the proper group, where you'll be able to meet people who you might see again...

I'm planning on a maths major under science maybe finance or accounting under commerce.
