But in this case I was being serious. I thought policing was a course you take, I never knew there was a degree for it.

But I'm working to do the degree, go 3 years general duties and then move into riot squad or detective for special units and work my way up ato AFP

You go university 2 years then go goulbourn for academy on final year and graduate then become a copper work general duties before you choose a special unit career e.g. Detective, highway patrol, dog squad, bomb squad etc haha
