Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone knows an accurate conversion of our WAM to the US GPA format over 4.

For example, what would an 80% be? I've found everything from 3.45 to 3.80. I'm really confused.

Thanks for your help.

they cant be "compared" really, but in the case that you get 80% here in a subject that is exactly the same and you got 80% in an extremely similar exam, then you might get a similar value.

1=pass
2=credit
3=disctinction
4=high distinction.

80% is a distinction so you'd get a 3.0 GPA, you have to realise though that it is the mean of many many subjects over the course of over 1 semester. you do NOT get a fraction in your gpa after 1 subject.
