Hey guys im new around here and i saw these forum and thought what you guys think about my changes in getting into a selective school
My end of year 9 report is as follows
Maths (Yr 11 3 unit ) A
English B
Religion A
Science A
Pd B
History B
Geography A
Graphics A
Commerce A

Band 6 in Mathematics School Certificate (2011)
Distinction in the Australian maths test
24/25 in the APSMO
1st in Science, math, graphics,commerce and geography
Doing HSC 2 unit in year 10 (this year)
Ranked top 10 in halfyearly mathematics in St Marys Cathedral College
Don't do reps sport and dont do any other stuff other than helping at open days and stuff like that.

I was thinking of trying for
Fort street
Sydney boys
North Sydney boys
Caringbah
Sydney tech

So yeah guys tellme what you think about my chances into getting to any schools AND BTW IM NOT ASAIN JUST CAUSE IM GOOD AT MATH AHAHAH

I dont know man, the general rule of thumb is to assume everybody on bos is asian unless you have pic proof.

Go for it! Selective schools like to see Distinctions, high rankings and understanding two years beyond someone's age.

Your maths abilities are certainly impressive and would hold interest for selective schools I reckon Esp with the distinction and 24/25 in those outer comps. Also lots of 1st rankings=good chance, have a shot.
