If you work efficiently, it's honestly not that difficult. I think subject selection matters a lot - E.g. 4U maths really helped my ATAR a lot, same with English Ext, Eng Adv, etc. My only regret was doing Modern History - should've done Chemistry instead because of scaling.

Not sure about VCE as I've never done it. However, if scaling works the same way, then it should be similar?
