Government position?

Nothing fancy! Just junior medical admin in a hospital. Yet somehow that translated to me needing to have a full medical check up, 4 vaccinations, criminal check, working with children check, 2 interviews with a health officer and one with HR. 2 orientation days with Westmead hospital and 2 weeks training.

Thank god I get paid for all that.

HAHA, yeah all government jobs are like that. I guess they want to be sure they're not hiring a terrorist.

The interest rates article. Though I'm a bit confused, do we critically analyse the article or just the issue? Cause its not a very complex article to discuss.
I'm doing that one too! Umm I've sort of tried to analyse the issue, using the article, I got the impression that's what we were meant to do.

you can still find out your ranking. plus an HD places you in roughly the top 3%

Re: Semester 1 Chatter Thread

I was watching soccer yesterday. It was really, um...dulll. Most games I've glanced at seemed pretty exciting but this one (Aust vs China) was really, really dull.

Not cool.

Re: Semester 1 Chatter Thread

china had strange tactics - they really didnt give themselves a chance to score, and the way they swarmed over the australian players when oz entered the chinese half didnt allow them many chances either. i dont really know anything bout football anyway

i wanna start uni again, i think this break is pretty stubid.

200 words out of my 750! Yay!

But seriously, the essay I'm "working" on is stupid. I can't say everything I need to in 750 words.

This break also hasn't done anything to enhance my uni experience either. It just makes me want to skip lectures more. :(

You're probably going to find that you're always having that problem with needing to say too much and not having enough words.

Re: Semester 1 Chatter Thread

Hey, I'm just picking up my sorry lazy ass to start doing that mini-essay too... and am searching around and all I have is the articles themselves. Did we get any extra information about what to write about? Or is it just, analyse the issue in about 750 words...
