What do you guys think about the Sydney Uni Memes page on Facebook?

It's bashing UTS and UNSW quite a bit.

Those sorts of things always bash Uts and unsw. I thought the first couple were funny, but they are getting a bit repetitive now...

For anyone who is keen, all my subjects now have their outlines on webct/elearning/learning management system (so other subjects may also be going up soon)- for first years it's the online tool on the left side bar once you have logged into myuni- good if you want to know required textbooks, what the assessment schedule is etc.

Seriously though I've been at USYD for 5 years and this is the third name change the online system has had...

If you have successfully pre-enrolled, your student campus card with new barcode, will be mailed to your preferred correspondence address by the beginning of Semester.

Personalised timetables out usually sometime in the week before o-week. The central timetable is already up on http://web.timetable.usyd.edu.au/menu.jsp?siteMap=true

Double degrees take five years! I'm glad its my last year though...

But then I'll have to work in the "real" world... ugh.

except when you stick honours in the middle, and drop to 3 subjects a semester in penultimate year. I'm entering 6th year and won't finish until mid-2013 i'm sick of living on a student budget.

In the second year of B Arts, if I take 5 subjects instead of 4 to make 30 cp instead of the usual 24,
would that incur extra fees? In the handbook it says the maximum cp in a sem is 30.

You would just pay for 5 subjects, rather than 4. They don't charge you any more than the course actually costs.

Thats not unusual. If they aren't up during the first week then i'd be asking questions.
