I was being serious? It was no fun, it was hard to find relevant and current research material for it and the question was obscure and lame.

unfortunately the warm weather means that im tempted to spend my time lounging around on the front lawns or the square rather than going to classes. but screw it, i need to get familiar with the idea of 'sunlight' again. god knows it's a long time since there's been any blue sky around sydney.

It's usually week 7 (or it was last semester).

EDIT: actually it might be different between each faculty.

the census date - which is the last day to withdraw from a subject - was 31 august. you now can't withdraw but instead have to discontinue, which means you still get charged HECS for it and it appears on your transcript as DNF.

i think you have to go to your faculty office to discontinue.
