Hmmm? I mean I got a text msg notifying me that I was successful in gaining an interview, and they want me to respond with the times I'm available to make it. How should I respond--text msging, calling back or emailing? I would do email except that she said she's really keen to get onto it and if the interview's on Wed and she only reads the email on Monday then that's too late. If I call back now, it's too late at night, and is tomorrow out of bounds as it's a Saturday? Text msging is rather unprofessional but since she contacts me like that, should I reciprocate?

So yeah...help!!!!!!!
Call them up definitely (if what you say about her e-mail habits are true).

Hmm yeah I'm not sure about her email habits but as it's a work email address and from what I've seen at hospital pharmacies your email account is integrated into Outlook so you can't actually access it from elsewhere, I think it's a safe bet she won't have access to it till Monday.

Ok, I think I'll call her tomorrow even though I've never heard of calling people on their personal mobiles on a Saturday to confirm interview times. Good point runoutofsleep, I think if she can do this now she won't mind me calling tomorrow morning.

Congrats velox! But did you mean you did your interview on your mobile at Redfern or you did a face-to-face at Redfern as well as a phone interview? I'm assuming this means you've gotten the job? :)

It's booked. Next Wed, phone interview for Wagga at 9:30am. Next Thurs, in-person interview for Blue Mountains at 1pm. I just hope I can handle it. Took me a day to recover from Albury and I have placement Wed afternoon so it's really go go go. (at Ryde Hospital too so it's not some quiet community pharmacy I can bum around in).

Nah it was a phone interview at redfern, unfortunately I still have a few stages to go before I get the job.

5th interview in 2 months :( But hoping for at least 5 more :D

Good luck for your interviews. My tips are:

know your resume/cover letter well, you shouldnt have to look at it
know your interviewers background, helps so you know how to answer the questions
Enjoy the interview and smile
Dont use scripted answers.

Haha thanks :) Any extra tips for phone interviews? I've never had one before so I'm extremely nervous. I'm terrible at talking on the phone, and really need to get over it asap. Good luck to you too for your interviews!
