you sir! are a slut, i envy you. do you have too average high marks for that?
:p

I'm leaving in 2 weeks.

University of Amsterdam here i come!

This semester was so easy and i'm in third year! Easier than first year by far. Only going to uni 2 times a week and avoiding peak hour chaos. I have better things to do than get sandwiched in cityrail trains in rush hour.

In UvA, semester starts in September 3rd....so 3 months of travel and fun! *shivers*

Yeah i did PHIL1010 last year it was fine, just do the readings (most) and pay attention in the lectures and tuts. All the logic/reasoning/fallacy stuff was really interesting, the tuts were almost enjoyable. :)

Nope not at all. Have a look at the assessments:

- Argument analysis - 20%: this requires only the very basic skills in academic essay writing which can be found easily at the learning centre (online or in person)
- Short essay - 20%: once again the same as above except a bit of referencing as well, using the Harvard (in-text) method.
- Exam (Short answers and multiple choice) - 50%: the short answer part requires little skills in writing, as the majority of the work is thinking, you just have to write what you think that's all, a tad logically. With your mathematical background you'll smash the multiple choice part:chainsaw:.
- Tutorial participation - 10%: 5% is attendance, and the other 5% can be any bullshit from the readings. :argue:

What do you mean by "Cognitive Problem Solving Skills"?
he's trying too sound smart by saying your mental ability too solve problems.. if you've done an IQ test they usually use stuff like advanced puzzles (graphical and narrated) to test you out.

timetable-wise, its not looking too good for this semester. two 9am starts and no free days...that's full time engineering for you.
