0.5 off 90 but I so didnt care. I was SO HAPPY.
esp since i didnt kno u could get high with low scaling subjects unless u go
2 a selective or high scoring school.
and I told my parents I got 90 anyway. hahahahahaha (i was just rounding the number up I swear =])
AND im from Newcastle so I get 4 added points.
so I guess my ATAR is worth 93.95 =]]]]]

Nope, they've tailored the course so that even General Maths people can do Physics, albeit with perhaps a bit of difficulty.

Also, welcome to the BoS!

Absolutely correct! If you do happen to have skills in Maths Extension, the projectile questions will become far easier!

2009 ATAR: 89.35 :( :( :( I don't know what happened. Thought I did so well!
You seem very pleased with that english result - simply put you shouldn't be. If all your other results are correct, then that would suggest you have a good work ethic and have a pretty decent memory. Would it not have been worth the time to memorise english essays? Even someone who is very poor at english can pull off a good mark with a memorised essay.

You realise that with 80 in english you would have been looking at an ATAR of over 99?

You were probably better off doing an english course that actually suited you to maximise your marks i.e. standard or esl, cos you did so brilliantly in your other courses

lol, English really fucked you over. You didn't really pass as your raw mark would most likely be under 50%.

Holy shit! You do realise that if you memorised a few essays, you could have prob got like 85 atleast. ATAR of like 99.5 or something. Work harder, ATAR of 99.8+

Also you must realise that if you walked into the exam and wrote nothing but your student number you would have got 50 HSC mark. This would have been 100 percentile. So you prob got about 90 percentile i would imagine

EDIT:

Matrix: 94.65

Actual ATAR: 94.35

Pretty close.
Troll i think...
