And its mostly the classes I'm doing thats small imo, my school's grade has 100 people in it.

Thats like me, my school has 90 people in our year, but only 3 in Ancient History and 3 in my particular English subject.

i dunno abt my ranks for yr 12 yet but from mid prelim to final prelim so many undercover nerds have appeared outta nowhere... even my laziest bum friend has started tutoring etc....>>

eng std18/ 50 --> 29/49 stoopid ppl from advance dropping down... grrr
2u maths 49/116 -->61/ 100 nuidentifed nerds......><
ext1 maths 23/59 --> 59/59 so funny laughed my butt off..... wonder y i dropped it
bio 43/84 --> 35/ 86 im surprised... though its not not a godo rank but im happy.
chem 57/76 --> 57/77 ralala i strive to achieve better in hsc coz ive started tutoring .LOL
bst 18/ 56 --> 16/53 i need top 10 for bst... my best subject also y least favourite.><"
photography 20/28 --> 18/27 clas of bludgers who wnted do a 1u subject...LOL

My school is extremely small.

My school is extremely small too. Gotta <3 rural areas though lol There are about 40 ppl in my Year 12...

Year 11:
Advanced English - 5/10
Economics - 3/6
Biology - 2/7
Maths - 6/42
Business Studies - 1/13
Food Tech - 1/0

Year 12:
Advanced English - 2/6
Economics - 1/4
Biology - <unknown>/7 (so far, unranked)
Maths - =5-ish/30-something
Business Studies - 1/10
Food Tech - 1/0 (dist. ed. lol)

My ranks are so much better than the year before

you need to be in the top10% for each subject.

You cant neccesarily say that. If the class is really smart on a whole, even the person who is ranked down the bottom can do well, and vice versa. It depends how you do in comparison with the rest of the state.

I hate undercover nerds! They come outta nowhere. End of year 11, I was ranked 4/93 for business studies, but now I'm ranked in the 20s! This is SHITHOUSE! *rages*

I've also dropped ranks in eco (was 5/36), English, legal, but I'm 1st in general maths now (was 2nd last year).

That's one of the top ranking I have ever seen here. It's pretty impressive that you can keep up that great result over 2 years. Good luck in your HSC!
