dudes i realised when i got home that the 4 marker asking about the 4 scientists wanted to know the impact on society...i talked about what each scientist did i.e generate electricity, law of electrolyis without saying how that impacte on society....will i still get 4 marks if i talked about the 4 scientists? cause thats the info that was in the text book?

well you just really had to say that but add in sentences like
"the Voltaic Pile impacted society by allowing Davy to carry out landmark experiments, of the discovery of new elements"
so you still show what you know, but you answer the question.
so you should be ok

this section was the easiest. esp the 6 marker on how different methods of protection for boats have been developed over time

hahahah 100 ... wait 100 in chem or 100 in shipwrecks?

@ AJ it wasnt really just the protection i dont think =S
i think the question was also about the properties of the metals and why they came into use =)

i talked about the critical temperature and stuff =)
and why they had to alloy steels
