The thing is I'm 1 whole topic behind in Bio and have done no study for it what so ever - knowing the Biology trials is next week..
Sounds like you have a natural aptitude for bio over chem for your rank to be better. Unless you're confident you will blitz chem trials.

Might as well see how you go in the bio trials before making final decision.

Yeah, I'm actually pretty confident for the Chemistry trials.. I have also spoke to my science head teacher and he said that it is indeed possible for my rank to go up (even into the top 5s) if I do well in the trials, as he said the difference between the top 10 people are like 3-4 marks away.

Don't worry about scaling if you're ranks are so varied. If you want to drop a subject, just drop the lowest ranked (relative to your school).
