should i get the new jacaranda? (1 Viewer)

I just visited the jacaranda site and saw that the new jacaranda physics 2 is coming out in may.
I already have the old jacaranda from my sis, but I just wanna make sure that I have the right resources.
Would there be any differences in the new version?
Should I buy the new one that's coming out?

The new one just has information removed and some moved (e.g the 'communication with satellites' chapter was removed and replaced by 'the solar system is held together by gravity' - but the new chapter is just parts of other chapters in the old one) - so I don't think it would be a wise move to buy the new one.

the new one reflects the new syllabus: dumber. they took alot of good stuff out

+ if u got $ to blow on a book, dont bother getting the new jacaranda if u already have the old one... get another book.

I dont think you should dish out the money to get it. Wait till the 04ers finish their HSC and buy the first edition off them (cheap too). The new one would be exactly the same, but with things chopped out of it.

i dont think anyone would be that sad to actually go through the two books and compare. Unless you were really bored. Obviuosly, if they were going to chop things out of the old book, they wont leave blank spaces and pages everywhere , thus the numbering of pages would be different too

You dont want to be waste your time studying unecessary things, while using the older books.
