Hello everyone. I just check the UNSW online bookshop and saw the text book list.

If I get every single text books, both prescribed and recommanded, it will cost more than $800!!

I know we must get the prescribed texts, but should students get the recommanded ones?

If yes, to what extend should we buy them? All? or the ones you feel important?

no no no no!!

For some subjects its possible to get through without a textbook even if its prescribed.

Wait for the lecturer to see if the textbook is really needed, or ask people who have done the subjects to see if the textbooks are needed (and buy second hand).

I know I'll be selling a few books when week 1 starts, when people have a good idea of what they want.

Try clear your cache and type in the URL in a new, blank window.

Tools -> Internet Options -> Delete Files -> check "Delete all offline content" -> OK

The cache stores internet content locally on your computer, to save the computer downloading it again and again. Sometimes a large and messy cache causes problems.

*Notices sunny assumes IE*

The other possibility is that you are using a space when you type in the course code ...

EDIT: No, it dosn't let you do that, I am not sure what you are doing wrong ...
