well i think that if you're drawing any graphs or whatnot they tend to like you using pencil better, well at least the teachers did in the trials and such. plus i think that if you look at the general instructions it doesnt say nething about red pens. but hey, if it's legible i guess its ok.

Yes, markers do not write on your paper.
Use red to highlite key words and underline final answers etc.

our teacher said not to use pencil cause most marking is done at night and pencil is verrryy hard to read under low/artificial light (she is also a marker)

its funny though, some people bring in like 5 million pens of all colours into english exams, and there i am with just 2 black pens and a white out marker, and i dont even use that. do more pens make you feel better? :p or are they really gonna write that much?

i had 3 pens run out in my english trial :s so i bring 5 now just in case, but u dont need white out (they apparently hate it, and you can still gain marks for crossed out work)
but people brought like 2 pencils and rubbers and highlighters into english, i thought that was overkill

i like to use diff colours in physics especially and red comes in handy, lucky some1 brought that up cos i was wondering the same thing :p
