Im thinking of signing out after SC in week 6 after my SC and beyond yr10 thing which apparently is compulsory. Im wondering if anyone's done this. They dont do anything in last 3 weeks of school right so i wouldnt be missing out on much?

Cheers

You will need to find out what the final day of attendance is in you school system for Year 10 as signing out early could prevent you getting a SC or enrolling in Year 11.

You school should have given you a final day of attendance already but if not check what is the final day required at your school.

i dont know of any final day of attendance. Of course they encourage you to come every day up to the last day.

Ask your school officials. Its quite risky basing your decision on unknown posters (generally)

Our principal is going to grant people leave as soon as the SC is over. They changed all the rules that were not supposed to be able to leave, but year 10 this year has got the short end of stick for everything so far, all the rule changes have been against us.

our school had a pre-HSC program after School Certificate, but the principle still let year 10 student for oversea holiday. i think hardly anyone going to turn after SC anyway.

The BOS used to specify a set date but now they just say 'school system' and do allow principals to use their discretion but they also have the wording that not attending as required places your SC and entry to Year 11 at risk.

It is in the Rules and Procedures booklet for SC 2009.

Your best bet is to check with your school.
