With Sig. figs u basically write down the first required figures, round up the last one and drop the rest. e.g : 1.57 to 2 sig figs = 1.6 1326.5 to 3 sig. figs=1330 *If the first figure = 0 move on to the next first number that isnt 0. i.e, 0.0018510 to 3 sig figs = 0.00185 0.04066 to 2 sig. figs = 0.041 Last edited: Oct 27, 2003
