Basically I want to major in Psychology (PSYC) AND EITHER human resources (MGMT) OR marketing (MARK).

So for first semester, I've already chosen

ACCT1501
MGMT1001
MARK1012
PSYC1001

So put simply, am i wrong? Someone told me i have to have do ECON1101 now?

Can't i push that into the 2nd semester and do "ECON1101, MATH1031, PSYC1011 and MGMT1002" in 2nd semester?

My statistics course with the Psych major has to be PSYC2001, which i can only do after completing PSYC1011. Do I even have to do the stupid "first year mathematics course" in first year?

fml if i have to do ECON1101 this semester im is going to be fucked.

Thanks for anyone who replies.

Short:

You're fine.

Long:

No you don't have to do ECON1101 this semester.

There are classes for "Micro" in semester 2, whoever told you is misinformed.

You do have to do a first year maths subject -- 6 units of credit (1 course) of First Year mathematics as specified for the appropriate Science program -- and I'm fairly certain Maths for Life Science applies.

Email the Science Office to confirm though.
