The USYD website has links to the library site. From there, they outline the conditions for borrowing and card-making for certain people [students of USYD, students of other unis, grads, professors etc etc]

go to the usyd library desk...ask the rude person behind the desk...then go to the little door off to the side...another wierd and rude library person will then ask you WHY you want a usyd card and then ask you for 50 bucks...once you have handed over your 50 bucks the star treck looking usyd library person will then continue talking to you like you are a looser while you sit down and get your photo taken...your card will then be ready a few mins later...you then walk about of usyd library with a 50 buck card...with very restricive borrowing rights and the thought of never coming about to usyd weirdo library ever again (unless you have to steal some of their books)

nope. I have to have a student card there because i do a subject there and that has the added benefit of a library card
