Funny with the setting of twilight.
Apparently forks is basically the only real town on the NW tip of the state (outside of a couple indian reservations). It's one of the most depressing towns people have ever had the misfortune of going through, a run down shithole full of unemployed lumberjacks and other assorted riffraff.

Supposedly fans of the books are flocking there in the thousands.

I heard they didn't actually film it in Forks. I saw images of the town - it looks pretty depressing.

I'm glad they stayed true to the book, it frustrates me when they add in all this stuff that didn't happen. Like they did with Harry Potter.
