Malbranque has some skills, hes more your 'Zola' or 'di Canio' type player - i.e. trequartista (free role attacker) who tends to be known for his flair rather than his consistency.

He plays on the right wing; but runs inwards to annoy full backs. He's French.

The more they join the EPL the worse they'll do as a nation in international competitions. :D

He's potential... and even Sven recognises it; it's just that he's recently back from injury so his match again Celtic wasn't much good.

That' actually a very valid comment. It's too bad that as a team Bayern are yet to perform!

You should note what league they're in. Even when they're not performing they're meant to own domestically, and by a mile.

As for Champions League, they almost crashed out of the (first and only) Group Stage. Remember last year, as well.

finally they are showing some good stuff on SBS for once... no Man Utd in sight !! :)

Arsenal vs. 'Boro

this is a good matchup. Arsenal play a fluent, nice-to-watch game and have the players with the individual characteristics to not only get the results but to entertain. I am not an Arsenal fan but i like to watch them play.

As for 'boro, well, two words - Gaizka Mendieta.. this guy is almost back to where he was a few years ago when Lazio were payin' 29 million phat ones for his services. Its a shame he flopped in Rome but a stint at the teeside has done him good.

They also have a personal favourite of many years - Juninho Paulista - in their ranks. Should be an encounter worthy of staying up for.

You do remember Boro v Man Utd a couple of weeks ago...

Anyway, I enjoy post match Wenger comments, especially when his players have done more than their fair share. :p

I also enjoyed the comments by McClaren when he says that his side deserved to win, but didn't (first month or two of the season).
