i dun think any stadium in this world matches Nou Camp

i mean, San Siro is good..but ever since they added more seats, they fucked their pitch big time..i mean, thats pretty poor...

apparently it's a splitting image of benfica's new stadium (except the colour scheme of the seating etc) so if you watch euro 2004 there itll be.

espn got first dibs on that one, so sbs weren't left with many games. i think they show all games at some stage during the week on espn come the knockout stages.

and in other news, it looks like chelsea are gonna spend even more money to try and become like the arsenal. copycat wankers :p

roman's grand plan

was interesting to see what the new uefa ceo was saying at the half time break between arsenal and celta. He wants to stop or atleast limit the influx of internationa players into domestic competitions ( eg. prem league , arsenal and chelsea ). He mentioned that "buying" success defeats the whole purpose of a youth system in the clubs. Clubs like Ajax and Feyenoord were examples of clubs who produced basicly their entire team from the youth system. anyway, its about time something like this should be done. im sick of seeing dodgy french players in the prem league anyway.

Arsenal fans should celebrate. They've finally won in Spain against a team which are a handful of points above their drop zone, and made into the ECL knock-out phase because Milan fielded a Second XI... against a half-depleted Vigo, Arsenal in tip-top form didn't look too good, until late in the game when they finally secured a one goal advantage. Now, we'll just have to wait for the quarters for entertainment. :p

I won't be suprised if Real Madrid make the final purely out of luck/dodgy refereeing decisions and most importantly - opposition blunders..

shakes finger at Oliver Kahn

no, your goalkeeper is a certified spastic. edu is quite a classy midfielder, his second goal was something you expect from bergkamp or henry.
