Socialism, communism, marxism? (1 Viewer)

What are the differences between socialism, communism and marxism? This has left me a bit confused for a while now :(
(just started prelim course)

Socialism was founded by the Welshman Owens, it was carried out quite peacefully by Sweden for 100 years.

Marxism and Communism are much more deadly. Gaps in the logic of the ideology leads to power being consolidated at the State level exclusively and in an extremely Totalitarian manner. It is estimated the Marxist Communist USSR killed 62 million people in the Gulag destructive labor camp system set up by Lenin.

Compare Sweden's socialism (based on the Welshman Owens), which it has had for 100 years, with the virulent Marxist-Communist brand of the USSR, which committed the greatest genocides (62 million people killed) in the history of humankind.
