goodtogo, you say how stat270 is a better choice rather than psy222.... is this because of psy222's difficulty or what?
cuz in the excel file which jlh put up (might be in a different thread) i dont recall many subjects requiring stat270 (if any) i think most of it was like psy222(p) or entry into bba
Well for psych degree you can do either stat271 (the hardest), stat270 (3 credit pts, 1 semester) or psy222 (4 credit pts, year long). So a lot of people would prefer to do stat270 and get it out of the way after one semester.
Oh also a correction about PSY232 (the unit requiring a certain GPA). That rule has been changed for the BBA-BA-Psych:
Enrolment in BPsych(Hons) or BBA BA-Psych or GPA of 2.50
So if you're combined with BBA, the GPA of 2.50 is not a requirement anymore.
Its a cool degree, so don't be scared to give it a go! If after finishing first year psych you don't really like it, you can just do 2 more 300-level subjects and count it as a module, rather than going on with the BA-psych.
