If you don't work I'll eat your soul =D

Ahahaha, no seriously, you don't need motivation. Just disconnect your computer and learn learn learn :)

Ok. I'm going to make a pledge:

I, Just.waiting shall hereby study from 4 to 6. (we have dinner at 6, so I can't really change that) Then I shall study from 7 to 11.

That's 6 hours as well as the additional hours I've already done completed.

And, if I go on BOS tonight, or any social netwoking site during the duration of my study period I shall buy premium membership to anyone that catches me out.

Do you need your cpu?

to memorize essays?

best way to not get distracted is to lob your computer out the window works.

Shouldn't the fact that you want to succeed in your HSC be enough motivation to study?

Well if it is not, than bribe yourself; tell yourself "If i memorise one essay before so and so time, i will let myself spend 1 hr socialising" - or whatever picks your fancy.

Just Study; you'll look back and thank yourself!

Get your parents to scream at you. It works. Well, I don't get my parents to scream at me.. they scream at me on their own accord. That usually makes think, 'F..off you retards. I'm smart, you're not.'

Usually makes me want to study, study, study. Stupid Asian parents. :p

I'm so tired now though. I have a week until my next exam. I think I might take it easy this afternoon - then get back into tomorrow.

You would think that it would. I really don't know what is going on with myself. Before STUVAC I was studying easily 6 hours a day. And that's on top of school. On weekends it was 8 to 10. Now that it actually matters, I can't be stuffed.

I think I'll just start spending more time at the library over the next week. I always study really solidly there. The problem is, at home I'll be studying but nothing will 'sink in'. I wish they opened earlier. Our stupid local library doesn't open until 9.30, and if I wanted to go elsewhere I would have to add about another half an hour onto the trip.

Anyways, I'll stop being a whiney bitch now and get on with it.

In one week I will have a social life!!!!! OMG!!!

Geez, if you studied that much before you should have everything down by now anyway.

To keep me motivated I usually think about how little the HSC means and the numerous back-doors into uni.

Yes but I'd feel lazy not studying. Mainly because everyone else is, so I know that I should be too.

Oh, and I was still tweaking my extension essays towards the end. :(

It most certainly is and that's how I'm feeling at the moment. My teachers and friends are saying "...Come on, a few more weeks..." but no matter what they say, I still can't get myself pitching to what I want myself to do.
