Someone staying at Herring Road apartments? (1 Viewer)

Hi,

Received an offer to stay at the Herring Road apartments in a private room, 6 apartments house.
I'm an exchange student from Belgium and not familiar with this kind of housing.
Some questions about this housing:
- is the utilities allowance of AUD 1000 sufficient? Or is the some excess to pay in general?
- there is no internet included. How do you solve that? Each tennant needs to search for a provider? Or is the bill split by 6 for a general contract?
- any other hidden extra's to pay?

I would appreciate a quick response, as I have to confirm in a few days.
