then thought that the 'rules and laws' and god's love (for Judaism) could apply to marriage and bioethics so waffled on about that for a while
overall, i'm pretty sure i failed it though

Section 3 was a pile of shit,
I was NOT expecting a quote to work off and base my essay on
I was expecting it to be somerthing like Bioethics/sexual ethics etc
or the significant practise!
Not some stupid quote piece of crap
7 pages of crap that I dont even understand

No more studies of religion for me though

This was a whole lot of bullshit. Everyone came out of the exam saying "Did we ever learn about question 3?".

I think it was a preliminary question which mans the whole exam should be scrapped and everybody gets 100%. Or at least for section III.

I did christianity for the last section. I did an overview then went into my 3 cores trying to link it to the quote however had difficulty. Seeing the RE coordinator afterwards he said firstly that is a very hard question as before they had been more dirrect. He suggested that you should have tried to incoperate your 3 main areas and linked to the life of the adherent as well as trying to intergrate the quote. Personally i think it was way to broad of a question and the board will have fun marking answers from so many perspectives and the marking center will hopefully not punish us because of the obscurity of the question.

With Islam I talked about Environmental ethics, how Qutb interpreted the Quran and how the Quran explains the Hajj which increases the understanding of God's will for Muslims.

Band 6 responce, allocating 20 marks to someone with an incredible freaking mind that can write perfect bullshit for 20 pages for section three in their religion exam.
20 marks for Band 6 students, or E4 i dont know.
