Surely they'd only specify Keating, Lincoln or King... right?? I guess maybe Socrates or Pearson.

Hmm, if they do Cicero or Atwood or something, i'm going to paper cut my wrists.

if you look at the last 5 years hscs, only one year have they specified a speech, and it was the gettysburg address.

HA! we have as assignment on Atwood. writting a speech about a speech basically...its so difficult. i know its an informal speech for an audience of knowledgeable reader’s of fiction, who would connect and respond to the many literary suggestion’s made by atwood, i know she uses rhetorical devices, repetition, negatives and humour and all that..but i'm so screwed when it comes to exploring the ideas expressed! its basically about feminists and arguing the point about feminist notations for the last quater of the 20th century that women may have been necessary victims of there opression ...or whatever!
