spyware wont go (1 Viewer)

yo

i installed messenger plus, then all of a sudden my comp just got flooded with spyware. one of it is a little annoying toolbar on my IE, and constant annoying popups that werent there before. i remove messenger plus, nothing changes.

so i ran ad-aware professional, spybot S&D, mcafee antispyware and spysweeper. all of which have the latest possible updates. it didnt get rid of the toolbar, (but it did find alot of other unrelated crap)

so i thought maybe i should use Hijackthis, and sure enough, i see alot of things i can remove, there were around 5 entires called "New.net hijack blah blah" which i tried to remove, but it says i had to use spybot s&d to get it removed.

so i run spybot again, and it picks up nothing.

any ideas anyone?

Is this cause you accidentally clicked 'Yes, I approve of the sponsor to be installed' or something along those lines?
