St George Internet Banking... and linux (1 Viewer)

I only recently got my card enabled to use internet bankinf thru st george... now i get on the site and i have to download java 2 (fair enuff) and still i can't get on. So i did the compatibility thing they have there and im like 'wtf?!' They say they don't support Unix OS's... yet they support Mac OS's. Shoot me if i'm wrong but aren't Mac OS's based on unix? And why the fuck isnt linux supported? I mena this is a major banking website here... and they don't support linux? go fkn figure.

So does anyone here use st george bank with linux?

out of all the compatibility things the only thing i got a tick for was Mozilla 1.6... which i have on my pc but don't use. I use Firefox.

hmmm MAC OS X is not based on unix

firefox is based on mozilla so i don't see why it won't work

if it seriously does not support linux then st george has issues!

Actually, MacOS IS based on Unix. Well, Linux 4.4 kernel to be precise.

Anyway, you should GET A REAL BANK. St George is crap all around, not just for service.

its better than the commonwealth.. and westpac.. so i'm happy. I just feel rorted that they dont support linux... it means i either have to start up in win on this machine to get in or i have to use dads pc to do it. Bleh fktards.
