Ok, as for this round of tips I'm focusing on some good returns for the world cup.

And I've made my biggest bet ever. $20 On switzerland to qualify. It's a smart bet, even though I only get $4 return (but $4 is lunch sometimes).
The way I see it, it can't go wrong. Switzerland getting beat by 3 goals (with 0 goals scored). Highly unlikely.
Largest return is Trinidad and tobago's wc qualifigaytion at $3.50. I think they can do it. All it takes is a 1-0 lead to them.

Apparently the NRL betting markets are pretty inefficient (i.e. you can find value), i had a link to a paper about it in my old finance textbook, but i've sold it.

By inefficient, i mean that the market is not pricing risk properly, which is good cos you can take advantage of it. IIRC, it doesn't give enough weighting to the homeground advantage (i.e. the payoffs for homeground wins are higher than they should be). Also i think it said that the payoffs for underdogs were too high. This means that if you bet on everymatch where underdog is also the home team (for that team), in the long run you should make profits.

I made back my money I lost on fucking Uruaguy with Floyd Mayweather stopping Mitchell in the 6th round today... + a whole heap of MMA fights that were on today.
The odds suck so bad in MMA, the favourite will sometimes only be paying $1.10-1.30 to win.. however, styles make fights and sometimes you can pick up great bets when you believe the underdog is going to win.
I'm playing with a small amount of money, just betting on favourites and getting a decent spread of bets, even if I have no idea about the teams... if I come out in front, I might increase the money I put on each bet.
I think there's money to be made in betting if you're smart about it and work with probabilities to remove the emotion in it.

i actually made a string of bad bets. I have $30 riding on the aussies to win the cricket at $1.20 from memory.
I also put $5 on germany to win the world cup @ $9; $1 for australia to win at huge odds
Also, $10 on north carolina to win their nfl game at $1.62

I fucking ran from a fight on Saturday night... I was standing outside a party talking to a mate I haven't seen in over 2 years, some guy walks past, all drugged up no doubt.. Wants to fight,
I said Ok, walked out onto the road to meet him - clinched, tried to take him down, but the mother fucker latched onto my neck and started biting it, I pulled back a bit and he had enough space to free up his arms... he had a 1L bottle of jim beam in his hand he started swinging it at me
so I started running.. but, I still want to fuck this cunt up so I'm hoping he drops the bottle... he doesn't, instead he goes and reefs out a fucking metal fence, about 5m long and starts chasing my mate and I around a car with it... we do a few laps, then he drops it.. starts chasing us and swinging this bottle at us.
